MLA’s surveyors use GIS tools and software to provide clients with a visual geospatial deliverable. GIS is an integral part of work flow for projects that require geospatial processing, data storage, large map sets, and presentations. Current ongoing projects utilizing GIS include fish camp mapping for rural Alaskan communities and parcel and road mapping for boroughs in their process to become E911 compliant.
